Golfing for Good: The 2024 Tournament

Sponsorship support was in full swing at the 4th Annual Golf Tournament. We are honored that so many people and organizations showed up again to give back to the community in a relaxed and fun event that we look forward to every year.

“It’s just such an awesome cause to be able to serve the people who really need a place to live,” says Steve Davis with Warfel Construction. Housing insecurity is a pressing issue in many communities, leaving families struggling to find affordable shelter. We prioritize bridging the gap, offering a lifeline to those on the margins of the housing market. By providing safe, affordable homes, we empower individuals and families to regain stability.
Our collaboration with other non-profits proves that our mission to provide affordable and safe housing for the community is one that others feel is worth showing up and supporting. One of our sponsors, Kimberly Fridley with the U.S. Senate Federal Credit Union, shares their company’s mission: “people helping people.” These words resonate with all involved in this event, and it’s the reason we continue to come together.

Allison Fink, from the Dupont Community Credit Union, notes all the ways that they take advantage of our flexible volunteering options by saying, “We can volunteer in service hours, go and teach classes, and we can support them in events like this.” Together, we can make a tangible impact on our community, regardless of how we choose to support it.

We want to reiterate how much we appreciate the outpouring of support we received at this event. All of our amazing colleagues and sponsors made this tournament, like all the tournaments we’ve had and will have, extremely special and productive.
