Building Houses, Building Hope

Central Valley Habitat for Humanity, Inc. is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International serving Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, and northern Augusta County. Since 1988, CVHfH has built simple, affordable homes for sale at no profit and no interest in partnership with volunteers, churches, businesses, civic groups, and the future homeowners who help build their own houses. Central Valley Habitat is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. We depend on contributions, donated land and materials, and volunteer labor to keep construction costs low.

Central Valley Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry that welcomes participants from all walks of life. If you share our vision that everyone deserves a simple, decent and safe place to live on terms they can afford to pay, we invite you to join in Habitat's work.

Our Mission Statement
Central Valley Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry that works in partnership with God and people in the Central Shenandoah Valley by building houses that enable families living in inadequate housing, who otherwise would be unable to do so, to own simple decent houses in which they can live and grow into all that God intends.
